![]() I have always strived to help people to be at their best whether it was when I was a schoolteacher, a challenge course facilitator, or as a fitness trainer. And I expect a lot from myself as well, completing eight marathons, including the Boston Marathon, numerous triathlons, trail running, cycling, and strength training. Life is too short to sit and wait, so I believe that you need to take responsibility for it and do something, sometimes anything to make a change. It is never too late. I believe in setting goals and going for it! After being frustrated with teaching school and being restless inside a classroom, I decided to become a fitness trainer. I have a degree in exercise science and I hold national certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and the Road Runners Club of America. I believe that fitness is for a lifetime and that our bodies are a gift to us from God and he expects us to treat it with love, dignity, and respect. I value my family and friends and I have many people who I owe so much for their support and guidance along life’s journey. Life is a journey and not a destination or a guided tour. So, as I learn how to take 100% responsibility for my life, I hope that you will take control of your fitness and to be the best you can be.
