The Fitness Journey
The Fitness Journey is oftentimes a lonely one for two main reasons.

Reason #1: The people that are the closest to us, i.e. our spouse, children, mother and father and those that we see on a frequent basis, like our co-workers often don’t understand our passion and our almost downright obsession with being fit. Being fit means taking time out of our busy day and taking time for ourselves, which means taking time away from our family and job. So, being misunderstood about that which we firmly believe can be a lonely thing. Reason #2: as we travel down this path of fitness, it sometimes becomes confusing and we can lose or direction because we hear so much about what to eat and how to eat and what’s good for us today will not be good for us tomorrow. As fitness professional I even get confused about it all. I get email blasts all the time telling with someone telling me they have the latest and greatest tool to burn fat or the latest workout video guaranteed to motivate. But, it all boils down to one thing. One five letter word says it all, TRUST. Who can you trust?

Well, I want to be your confidant and fellow soldier, if you will, on this fitness journey. I will support you and I do understand that you are being pulled in all sorts of directions at once and that for you, fitness ranks right up there. You know that by being physically fit and healthy you will be there for your kids and spouse, you will be a more energized employee. When people doubt you, don’t worry and take heart- my job is to be there to guide you to reach your goals and give you encouragement and professional guidance.

So, what I am saying is, you can trust me with information and technology when it comes to fitness. I take it seriously and I examine the latest techniques and the latest fads to look for the mistakes that people make. Just in case you don’t know, I have a degree in Exercise Science and I am certified as a personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

In the coming weeks, I want to share with you on your journey. I want to guide you along the way and provide you with the BEST information on getting fit and the BEST information on nutrition.
